Silymarin, also known as Milk Thistle Extract, is a natural flavonoid lignan compound extracted from the fruits of the medicinal plant milk thistle.
Silymarin is a natural active substance that appears as a light yellow or brownish-yellow powder. Its main components are Silybin, Isosilybin, Silydianin, and Silychristin.
Effects of Silymarin: It protects the liver, improves liver function, promotes bile secretion, has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It can prevent damage to the liver caused by alcohol, chemical toxins, drugs, food toxins, and environmental pollution, promoting the regeneration and repair of liver cells. Therefore, it is known as a natural liver-protecting medicine.
